Giving
Thanks for visiting. We want to give you the opportunity to share financially in our ministry.
Giving part of our income to God is an important element of our service to him. Almost all of our income at St Andrew’s comes from regular giving by church members and from donations, so by doing this you are playing an important part in our work and we thank you for that.
Regular giving
want to give to St Andrew’s regularly, the best way is direct through your bank by standing order, as that way no charges are incurred against your gift.
You can also use Gift Aid if you’re a taxpayer. Please contact our Treasurer, Bryan Higgins, who will help you with this confidentially, by emailing treasurer@standrewsbebington.org.uk.
For one-off donations please use the option below.
Give a one-off gift
It’s really easy. To give a donation, all you need to do is press Give now and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you may also be able to use Gift Aid so that we can increase your gift by 25p for every £1 donated, reclaiming tax up to the amount you have paid.
Giving Response Form
Here is a summary of the information recently given in our services about finances and giving. There is also a response form that you can complete and return to the Treasurer or the church office.
How is giving used?
Your gift enables our work, including:
- our payment to the Diocese to cover the cost of our clergy
- employment of our paid staff, including our Youth Worker and Office Staff
- maintaining, operating and improving our facilities for everyone’s benefit
- running events and activities to serve our community and to help people grow in faith
- 10% of our general income is given to support Christian work locally, nationally and globally
Projects in 2021 included improving our facilities so that we can stream our events online from the church building, and looking ahead towards important maintenance of the church spire so that we can continue to worship together safely.
