Guides and Brownies
St Andrew’s Church Hall hosts 2 Rainbows units (5 – 7 year olds), 3 Brownie units (7-10 year olds), 2 Guide units (10-14 year olds) and a Pegasus Ranger unit (14-19 year olds) run by Girlguiding Wirral. That’s 150+ young people through the week!
To support our 8 units, we have about 25 adult volunteers and 10 young leaders.
We continue to promote attendance to our monthly church parade in our family service, when each unit presents their unit flag to the church. In addition, we have participated in remembrance service with a village marching parade for the past few years. Our uniformed services are keen to be proactively involved with St Andrew’s, in supporting the church and local community.
Girls enjoy weekly meetings with fun and friendship, a mixture of badges, trips, events and over night experiences.
