Holy Communion

There are Communion services taking place at St Andrew’s every week, and Communion is also a monthly feature of both our main morning and evening services:

8:00am Weekly Communion service

The 8.00am is a quiet and traditional service. It includes the Book of Common Prayer’s service of Holy Communion, a Bible reading, prayers and a sermon. On the second Sunday of each month the congregation stay after the service to have breakfast together.

10.30 am Monthly Communion service

On the third Sunday of each month, the regular 10.30am service normally includes Communion. This is shared whilst the children and young people are present, and their normal Sunday Club and Amplify groups take place as usual in the second half of the service.

6.30pm Monthly Communion service

On the second Sunday of each month we celebrate Communion together as part of our regular pattern of evening services.

For those whose health does not allow them to attend church we are able to offer Home Communion.
